After waking up at 06:30 and being regaled by the possibility of thunderstorms and hail I paused for a few hours Sunday morning before finally giving up and heading out for my 5hr ride. I don't mind rain,and on a bike you are pretty insulated by the tires from lightning, I just brought a jacket and figured I'll just watch out for tornado shelter and high winds, but hail I'm not too excited to experience for the first time. Happily for me, nothing weather related did happen, that would have compounded things to a point I may have found unmanageable...
